Welcome to the Wishing Star Zine

Hello ! Thank you for checking out our zine information! This Zine is going to be both a celebration of the 25th anniversary of Wakko's Wish, as well as a way to feature smaller and starting out artists in the Animaniac's fandom. We intend to host a mix of both well-established and beginner artists, so anyone can apply regardless of your follower count or skill level.Disclaimer: We are not affiliated with the series, or with cartoon network. This is also a free, not for profit zine, meaning we will not be charging for the final product.

F.A.Q

What is a zine?
A zine is a collection of art and writing. It can be a booklet you stapled together for fun or a professional-looking bound book. Zines come in all shapes and sizes! They are often fan projects ('fanzines') where people can create works based on a series but they can have any theme, really.

Who is allowed to apply?
Anyone is allowed to apply! We do not have an age limit as it is a family-friendly zine. You do not need to have any previous zine experience either and are in fact encouraged to apply if you don't! We are willing to help anyone learn the zine process if they are interested in applying.

What are the zine specifications?
This zine will be a SFW (family-friendly) focusing on the winter special Wakko's Wish. We want to specifically feature new and beginning artists, but anyone is allowed to apply. We hope to have artists and writers of all skill levels featured in the zine.

Will I need a Discord account to participate?
